We have added an HTML builder which helps you to create a fully customized email template from scratch. To make your own Check-In Messages template follow these steps:


  • Click on the 'Guest Communication' Tab.
  • Then under the Check-In Messages tab, you will find the Email Builder.



  • On the right side of the builder, we can see the builder is divided into three sections i.e content, blocks and body.


Now, let's dive into these three sections separately. Lets first talk about the 'Blocks' section.

The blocks section helps you to set the layout of your Check-In Messages email template. It has different types of block structure that you can use to create the Check-In Messages email template. These blocks and blanks and we can put any content in these blocks by using the 'Content' section. Follow the below steps to use blocks in the builder.


  • Click on the 'Blocks' section. 

  • You will find different types of blank blocks. Now to put these blocks inside the builder you need to drag the block and drop it inside the builder.
  • Once you drop the block inside the builder then you will see a Row and Columns section opening up on the right side of the builder.

  • The column section consists of different types of Column, by selecting any one of them you can change the column inside the builder.  For example, you can change the one column block to 3 column block of your choice according to your need.
  • In the below image we changed the column from three-column to two columns and it automatically got changed in the builder.

  • Below the 'Columns' section, we have 'Column Properties'. In this section, we can add background color and padding to each section separately.
  • Below the 'Column Properties' section, we have 'Row Properties'. Here you can add Background color, image and padding to the row.

  • In the mobile tab, you have the option to hide a specific column or row on the mobile version of the Check-In Messages email.
  • For that click the toggle button present on the right-hand side of the 'Hide on Mobile'.
  • You can also select if you want a specific block to get responsive to the mobile version or not. By default, it's responsive so to disable it select the toggle button on the right of 'Do Not Stack-On Mobile'.


Now, let's dive into the content section. 

The content section helps you to set the components of your Check-In Messages email. Now let us learn about these components.


  • Column: These are the same column that we discussed in the block section above. These will add the column of different blocks in the builder area.

  • Button: This section will add a button wherever needed. Just drag and drop. Once you add the button you will get the option to add the URL to the button, change text, size, spacing, padding and background color. 
    • To change the text of the button just click on the button text and add your desired button name.
    • To add URL and change color and size of the button, click on the button placed on the editor and you can see all the editable option on the right of the screen.

  • Divider: This section will add a divider to the Check-In Messages email wherever you want.

  • HTML: By using this section you can add the HTML code to your Check-In Messages email. For doing so drag and drop the HTML section on the required column.
    • Once you drop that a 'Hello, world!' message will appear. 
    • On the right-hand side, you can see the HTML editor where you can add your HTML code.

  • Image: By adding this section you can add any image to your Check-In Messages email.  For doing so drag and drop the Image section on the required column. 
    • Once you drop you can see an upload image option on the right-hand side. By clicking on the upload button you can add any image from your computer.
    • You can also add the image by adding an image URL.
    • With this, you can also control the image width.
    • Under the action section, you can add a URL on the image i.e whenever someone will click on the image it will take to that URL. If you want to open the URL in a new tab then select the 'New Tab' under 'Target.

  • Menu: By using this section you can create your own menu on your Check-In Messages email. To do so drag and drop the 'Menu' section on the required column. 
    • Once you drop you can see a Menu added in the column. Now to add the Menu Items click on the 'Add New Item'.
    • Add text and URL for the menu. Similarly, you can add as much menu item as you want to your menu.
    • You can also style your menu with different font size, family, text color, link color and padding.

  • Social: You can add your event social media page links to your Check-In Messages email. For doing so drag and drop the 'Social' section on the required column. 
  • Once you add that you can see all the social media icons on the right side. You can select the shape of the icon from 'Icon Type'. 
  • To add a social media link, click on that social media icon.
  • Then add your social media page URL under the 'URL' tab. You can also delete any link by clicking on the delete button.

  • Text: In this section, you can add any text to your Check-In Messages email. For doing so drag and drop the 'Text' section on the required column.
  • Once added you can add any text with options to change the font, color, size and much more.


  • Video: In this section, you can add any video to your Check-In Messages email. For doing so drag and drop the 'Video' section on the required column.
  • Once added, you can add the video URL n the right-hand side section under 'Video URL'.  
  • Add a YouTube or Vimeo URL to automatically generate a preview image. The image will link to the provided URL.

  • Spacer: In this section, you can add a section of space on your Check-In Messages email. For doing so drag and drop the 'Spacer' section on the required column.
  • You can add padding in this block from the right-hand side option under the 'General' section to arrange the space between different columns or rows.

  • Calendar: In this section, you can add a calendar to your Check-In Messages email. For doing so drag and drop the 'Calendar' section on the required column.
  • Here you can add the icons, title, description, timezone and much more from the options provided on the right-hand side section.
     

  • Under the 'Body Section,' you can add the background color and image on the email of the Check-In message.
  • You can also change the Link color and hover the link color from there.


  • Once done with your setting for the Check-In Messages email, you can use this template to send in your emails.
